Prospective Students:
College of Arts and Science
The College of Arts and Sciences (also known as Liberal Arts) combines academic pursuits from the College of Humanities and the College of Sciences. A liberal arts graduate can choose a career from diverse fields such as politics, law, diplomacy, psychology, counseling, social work, theology, communications, advertising, public relations, and teaching.
Students in the College of Arts and Sciences design individualized degree plans that focus on their particular interests, goals, and needs, while maintaining an interdisciplinary approach.
Liberal studies learners have a good chance for success if they are self-directed, able to plan ahead and meet deadlines, able to work independently, and if they have a clear understanding of what they are trying to accomplish in an academic setting. Students should be familiar with current information technologies, using the Internet and e-mail, and learning independently.
In all of its degree programs, Pass Christian University strives to nurture creative thinking, intellectual curiosity, and academic integrity in our students. Upon completion of their degree programs, students will be prepared to enter their chosen career or advanced studies.
The degrees offered by Pass Christian University's College of Arts and Sciences include:
