The College of Communication at Pass Christian University arms students with the knowledge and skill required for a career in communications, including critical thinking and problem solving, information analysis and utilization, and collaboration. Our courses are designed to meet the special challenges posed by today's global workplace and the global presentation of information

The Communications curriculum incorporates theory, principles, and practice in combination with the student's professional experience to prepare students for advanced careers in a wide range of communications-related fields, including employee relations, corporate communication, community relations, public affairs, training and development, government affairs, human resources, advocacy, conflict resolution, media, and media relations.

Communications course work focuses on a variety of communication forms, with a special emphasis on technical writing and online communications-skills that are in high demand in today's business environment. Additional areas of focus include diversity, intercultural communications, legal and ethical issues, media and culture, and communication technology.

Learning is facilitated through faculty-led discussions, individual and team projects, and cooperative learning opportunities, and is designed to provide the essential skills for today as well as a view of future trends in communications.
