Introduction to Business

(45 hours of instruction) In this course, we'll explore the trends and developments currently impacting and driving business. The world of business is in the midst of a technological revolution. Businesses now must operate within a diverse, global economy consisting of countless industries, organizations, and people. All these elements are interconnected through new communication technologies, and they're all continually challenged to learn new ways of conducting business, both internal and external.

Exactly what are companies doing in response to this dynamic and demanding work environment? What do those of us who want to succeed in business today need to know to meet our goals, start our own businesses, manage work groups, and be effective team leaders and members?
