Current Students: Academic Calendar

All courses at Pass Christian University are self-paced. We believe that self-paced learning provides the flexibility to accommodate our adult students' needs and increase their potential for academic success. Self-paced learning allows users to learn anywhere, anytime, and at an appropriate pace based on the student's skills, knowledge and aptitude.

In most traditional courses, the information is presented at a pace to suit the average or typical learner; more capable students may be bored or frustrated by the course's slow pace, while others may find the pace too quick and find themselves falling behind. Furthermore, our adult students often have conflicting demands facing them, such as career, spouse, children, aging parents, health issues, etc., and these circumstances may interfere with a student's ability to keep up with instruction or adhere to deadlines in a traditional course.

Because we offer self-paced programs, our Academic Calendar is very simple.

Access to all PCU learning resources is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Faculty and administrative staff observe the following holidays:

March 10-15 Spring Break

November 23-30 U.S. Thanksgiving

December 23 through January 2 Winter break

Degrees are conferred twice each year, in June and December. To receive your degree in June, requirements must be met by April 30; to receive your degree in December, requirements must be met by October 31.
