Prospective Students:
Master's Degree Programs at Pass Christian University
Pass Christian University offers Master's degrees in a number of disciplines. As in our undergraduate degree programs, each student enrolled in our Master's programs works in consultation with a faculty advisor to develop a unique, personalized program to meet specific education and career objectives. Personalized programs are more flexible than traditional programs, allowing students, with the concurrence of a faculty advisor, to make adjustments as necessary based on professional requirements.
A student who is enrolled in a personalized program leading to a Master's degree is exposed to a broad, comprehensive view of her professional field. Through course work, students gain a thorough, in-depth understanding of the theory and practice behind their subject.
Our Master's programs prepare students for advanced work in their career fields. Courses in the Master's programs are chosen to help a student develop an understanding of his field beyond a Bachelor's degree. Students in the Master's program will conduct original research and apply theory to practice using models.
The focal point of a Master's program at PCU is the Master's thesis. The thesis demonstrates the student's mastery of the subject through original thought and research. To develop a successful thesis, students will require a comprehensive knowledge of their field of study, along with the ability to adhere to accepted research methods.
