Bachelor's Degree Programs at Pass Christian University
Pass Christian University offers Bachelor's degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. In consultation with a faculty advisor, each student develops a unique, personalized program to meet his specific education and career objectives. Personalized programs are more flexible than traditional programs, allowing students, with the concurrence of a faculty advisor, to make adjustments as necessary based on professional requirements.
A student who is enrolled in a personalized program leading to a Bachelor's degree is exposed to a broad, comprehensive view of her professional field. Through course work, students gain a thorough, in-depth understanding of the theory and practice behind their subject.
In order to succeed in today's business climate, however, students in all fields must also acquire the technical knowledge to interpret and analyze data, as well as the ability to operate a personal computer and to run a variety of applications. For this reason, Pass Christian University requires all students, regardless of field of study, to complete the requirements four classes in Business Technology.
Pass Christian University also recognizes that one of the greatest challenges facing workers today is to stay on top of current and ongoing developments in one's chosen field. To assist students in this effort, the learning methods used at PCU are designed to give students the tools and confidence to they need to engage in continuous learning after they graduate from the University.
Degree Requirements
In addition to the credit hours required by a student's personalized program, all Bachelor's degree programs require the student to demonstrate the following basic skills:
- comprehension of the subject matter
- the ability to perform independent research
- the ability to express thoughts clearly in writing
- the ability to apply theory to real-life practice
- the ability to effectively communicate information
These criteria were chosen because they represent essential skills for success in the work place.
Requirements for Admission
The following are the basic requirements for admission to PCU's Bachelor's degree programs.

- A curriculum vitae/resume that provides an overview of education, work, and other professional activities.
- A High school Diploma, GED or its equivalent from a recognized school.
