Pacific Cambria University recognizes eligible transfer credits from previously attended colleges and universities and accepts all such candidates in our bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree programs. Paving way to the best career option that can be opted by you, we make transferring credits very simple, whether you took online college courses for credit or attended a traditional school, our Registrar can evaluate your credits and let you know what will apply toward your degree. You may also be eligible for work and life experience credit. Receiving credit for what you already know saves time and money, both!

Credit Transfer Limits

Undergraduate Degrees & Certificates

Students may receive transfer credit for up to 60 percent of their Bachelor Degree program as a combination of transfer credits from other institutions and life/work experience (with a limit of 30 percent for life/work experience credit).

  • In Bachelor Degree programs, students may receive credit for 30 courses out of 40
  • In the Undergraduate Certificate programs, students may receive credit for 3 courses out of 5

Graduate Degrees & Certificates

Students may receive transfer credit for up to 60 percent of their Graduate Degree or Certificate program at PCU.

  • In Master's Degree programs, students may receive credit for 7 courses out of 12
  • In Graduate Certificate programs, students may receive credit for 2 courses out of 4 Limitations & Requirements

There are some requirements that must be followed in order to be a student of Pacific Cambria University. Following these limitation and requirements are beneficial for you (the students) in the long run. Credits submitted for transfer must be less than 10 years old, from an accredited institution, and the student must have earned a grade of B or higher. Credits in consideration for transfer into an undergraduate or graduate program must be equivalent to course offerings at Pacific Cambria University.
